satin or lace-which is more sexy and comfy to wear?
As a crossdresser, I want to wear panties under my work clothes, and am looking to wear something sexy/girly yet girly. Is satin or lace a better bet?
I don't understand the question positioning satin and lace as alternatives. You can get lace on all sorts of undies, regardless of the fabric, including cotton.
I don't tend to wear satin for bras and panties unless I'm dressing up for a special event. Satin is comfortable but doesn't wear well on a long-term basis. I used to wear satin slips and camisoles, but now most of my slips and camis are in other silky materials.
As for lace, I agree with the other posters that it can be bothersome in a panty. I love wearing lacy slips and bras - I would not wear any others - but panties are another story. I have lots of lacy panties with pretty bows, etc. and they're wonderful to make me feel feminine while I'm out wearing a special dress, etc. However, for most days I find myself wearing a panty with a cool nylon type fabric and not a lot of lace. Those panties wear better and last longer than their counterparts with tons of decoration.
